Providing Quality Family Planning Services (QFP)
Providing Quality Family Planning Services (QFP) offers national recommendations from the U.S. Office of Population Affairs to help providers deliver person-centered care that supports individuals’ reproductive goals.
QFP outlines what services to offer during a family planning visit — including contraception, pregnancy testing and counseling, STI services, pre-pregnancy care, and basic infertility support — and how to deliver them effectively. It offers specific guidance for serving adults, adolescents, and other key populations, and highlights how family planning visits can also support preventive care like cancer screenings.
Reproductive Health National Training Center (RHNTC)
The Reproductive Health National Training Center (RHNTC), in partnership with the Office of Population Affairs, equips Title X providers with the training and tools they need to deliver high-quality, person-centered family planning care. RHNTC helps ensure that everyone working in reproductive health has the knowledge, skills, and support to meet patients’ needs with confidence and compassion.
National Clinical Training Center for Family Planning (NCTCFP)
The National Clinical Training Center for Family Planning (NCTCFP) delivers high-quality, evidence-based clinical training for providers in the Title X network and beyond. Using the latest national standards and technology, NCTCFP equips nurse practitioners, midwives, physicians, and PAs with the skills and confidence to provide compassionate, expert family planning care.
