Missouri Medicaid
Adults can access low-cost or free health insurance through Missouri Medicaid, also known as MO HealthNet. Missouri Medicaid covers people from all walks of life. For example, single adults making under $21,500 a year or families of four making under $44,000 a year are eligible.

The Extended Women’s Health Services Program
Don’t qualify for full Missouri Medicaid? You may be eligible for limited coverage through the Extended Women’s Health Services Program.
This program provides family planning services to women ages 18 to 55 making under $31,000 a year (for a single adult), or $64,000 (for a family of four).
The Extended Women’s Health Services Program isn’t full Missouri Medicaid – it only pays for a select list of services.
Services for this program include:
- birth control, including IUDs and implants
- sexually transmitted infection (STI) screenings and treatment
- wellness (annual) exams and related services.
Apply for the full Missouri Medicaid and/or the Extended Women’s Health Services Program online, via phone (1-855-373-9994), or you can mail or fax your paper application. Any healthcare provider that accepts Medicaid can see you with this coverage, including Title X (Title Ten) clinics.
