At Beacon Reproductive Health Network, our policy work isn’t about politics — it’s about people. We push for systems that center communities, protect the freedom to make informed decisions, and ensure everyone can access the care they need to thrive.
Policy PrioritiesOur policy and advocacy work is powered by partnership. We collaborate with advocates, providers, and community members to advance policies that strengthen the safety-net and expand access to sexual and reproductive healthcare — no matter who you are or where you live.
📣 Our 2026 Policy Priorities
Beacon is focused on building a policy environment where providers can thrive and patients get the care they deserve. We’re working to:
- Expand access to available sexual & reproductive healthcare services
- Protect and expand access to meaningful contraceptive access for all
- Improve access to STI testing and treatment
- Maintain or improve the integrity of safety-net programs for all
- Preserve the federal Title X program
- Safeguard Medicaid funding and program integrity at the state and federal level
- Promote and improve the state Women’s Health Services Program (WHSP) and/or explore a State Plan Amendment
- Champion meaningful access to healthcare for all
- Defend against efforts to undermine healthcare access for all
- Combat mis- and disinformation in sexual and reproductive healthcare
