Missouri Family Health Council is now Beacon Reproductive Health Network
A New Name that Reflects Our Continued Commitment to Reproductive Freedom
[Jefferson City, MO] – Missouri Family Health Council (MFHC), an advocate and champion of sexual and reproductive healthcare access across the Midwest for more than 40 years, is now Beacon Reproductive Health Network – a new name that reflects the organization’s enduring mission to ensure that everyone – no matter their income, geography, identity, or circumstances – can access high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare.
The name “Beacon” was chosen to reaffirm and declare, without hesitation, what the organization has always been – a trusted guide, a connector of community-based providers, and a powerful voice for reproductive freedom in the region. Beacon Reproductive Health Network lights the way forward – working to ensure that everyone can get the care they need, without shame, judgment, or obstacles.
“This new name and rebrand is a declaration of who we are and where we’re going,” said Michelle Trupiano, Executive Director of Beacon. “We are proud to build on more than four decades of work while boldly charting a new course with justice, courage, and tenacity. We are centering our core belief that no matter who you are or where you live, each of us deserves the freedom to decide what happens to our bodies, how we care for ourselves, and when or whether we grow our families. Beacon is more than a name – it’s a promise.”
The rebrand comes at a time of challenge and opportunity for reproductive healthcare. With the recent restoration of Title X funding in Missouri and Oklahoma, Beacon is rising to meet this moment with renewed vision and purpose – ensuring that everyone, no matter where they live or how much they earn, can get the care they need without barriers or shame.
Beacon Reproductive Health Network invites partners, patients, and advocates to join in celebrating this milestone and continuing the collective fight for sexual and reproductive freedom.
